SOAK is a worship gathering with a difference. This is an informal service, a place where we worship, meditate and immerse ourselves in God’s presence using music, art, prayer, sharing stories.
This next season of SOAK is about seeking to understand the theology of creativity and art. Creativity and the imagination are not just used by ‘arty’ people, but by us all. We are all made in the image of The Creator, so we are all made to be creative too.
Beginning in 2015 up until the first few months of 2016, SOAK is partnering with CAF (Christian Artist Factory) in exploring the Coin Harbinson series ‘Stone by Stone’. The aim of this series is to see the recovery of the imagination in the life and mission of the church, and see cultural transformation.
So if you would Ike to:
- Discover the scriptural basis for creativity,
- Be with a group of people who encourage each other in their creative lifestyle or creative disciplines, Are boking for ways to give to God and share wth others our creative gifts
- Or discover where we fit in bringing about His Kingdom’ then come and join us!
